The Connecticut Post reported that Ifa Gordon, Jr., of Hamden was charged in Monroe with first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor in sexual activity. He’s currently being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The report states that Gordon, who is a friend of his victim’s family, admitted to having sex with the girl but claimed that it was consensual. He was arrested on Tuesday, April 23. He allegedly took the minor to a movie and raped her, and later raped her at her home while also watching a movie.
According to the report, the minor told her mother to what had happened, and she alerted police.
No return court date for Gordon has been announced.
